But hold on, surprise, surprise, here's a writer nobody mentioned, Carole King. She was working with Gerry Goffin at the time in the Brill Building, a place which housed creative people. Could you imagine that now, an entire building dedicated to creative pursuits. Not in this Iemma government's lifetime, which can be measured in days. After the Monkees, Boyce and Hart recorded some more OK pop.
