And then the fool who buys it off you at the higher price looks to find another fool to buy it at an even higher price, and that fool, in turn, hopes to sell it at a yet higher price to new fool, and so on...

Which, I think, is what's known in the trade as investing based on "The Greater Fool Theory"

And, as investment approach goes, it is perfectly feasible... until, of course, the supply of fools runs out.

And you just need to make sure that you're not the one holding the baby when that occurs.
