Thanks for the effort you put into your post. IMO you hit many OZL nails on the head; from the withdrawal of global investors to speculative day trading.

IMO many factors have impacted OZL's SP and some are worthy of special note. The merger process & associated speculation, the Greenspan factor, overall market sentiment, lower base metals prices & CommSec's persistent downgrading of OZL's earnings expectations [which if true IMO should have been advised to SHs as a market announcement] stand pretty tall IMO!

However, given the lack of news re any share buy-back or news of a ZFX size dividend it still looks as though 'the suits' aren't all that concerned about the SP - IMO & in the absence of other uses for OZL's cash reserves & recent earnings this either reflects poorly on their attitude to non-institutional investors or suggests they are confident the SP will imrpove without intervention [hmmmmmm?].
