*double facepalm. There's not SUPPOSED to be any CBD in the vehicle.
BTW - even if this was the only mix up (CBD in vehicle) it doesn't explain the lower response rate to the 5% BTX 1503 solution in the US trial. I am now pretty firmly of the opinion that the two treatments (vehicle and 5% BTX 1503) were somehow mixed up - which could have occurred during manufacture, packaging, labelling, administration to trial participants, data capture, data recording, data analysis or data reporting. When you transpose the results for these two treatment cohorts, the fit is just too neat to be a coincidence:
