Not a maniac but a trader after a quick profit. Is it still a maniac when they sell into 30 and then 10 minutes later the share price is 27?
This is some of the most high profile and totally expected news on the ASX. Big SP shifts occur when news surprises, not when it confirms expectations. When it confirms, then "sell the fact" kicks in.
What boggles my mind is how many short-term traders know this yet STILL get caught up in it. The dumper on open knew this was likely and took advantage. Smart trading.
