re:example of pure technical analysis ... debono Hi Debono ... I checked my original chart and the Fib study in Metastock (using the older 6.52 version) and it is exactly the same as you describe ...
I fiddled with it ... dragging from top to bottom and reverse and get the same plots.
I have noticed sometimes that the HTML .jpg file shows differently sometimes in terms of exact plots and positioning of line studies/arrows etc ...
In the case of NAB the reversal was called first on HC by yourself, although a tad early. It is noteworthy that NAB stalled as it hit the top of the upward trending channel at the Fib(61.8%) ... and along with the RSI triggering ... very strong T/A signals.
As I mentioned ... I don't think this is going to be a big trade as NAB is moving to clean out the stables which will act as a positive in the days to come ... overiding pure T/A here.
