Fair call. There's a degree of machine interpretation in these areas of medicine already. Having the 'brain' mobile and hand-held, as opposed to wired and desktop is just the next iteration in hardware evolution.

RAP are already working on tailored hardware to be virtually tethered sensory intelligence gatherers. Not quite coughing in to a phone, but I take your point.
