Century was producing during 2016-2018 when there were massive drawdowns in zinc metal? News to me. That’s about 0.5-1Mt Zinc metal equivalent of not produced during that period which eventually led to a shortage of metal. Plenty of mines have come back online since then.

Zinc premiums close to or at multi year lows. The differential between Chinese and LME pricing is highly negative. Certainly not painting a picture of shortage of metal. Those seem to be better ‘truth tellers’ in terms of actual demand.
