yeah I'm in London. But have only been here for a month or so, I arrived in their week of summer, then weather turnt $hite but is sunny today. hopefully lasts for the weekend so I can test out my new BBQ.

I live right near the BHP offices in London as my mate who I live with works for them, and it was funny watching the stinking greenie protesters at their HQ the other day protesting about coal and super gluing themselves to the windows in protest. The guy who super-glued himself inside to entry carousel soon found out that it hurts when somebody moves the entry doors, they are pretty big and heavy so you just move with them, except for maybe a little skin that you left behind. What I don't get is they spread a bag of coal around in the foyer to protest, not sure that's what I would do, they obviously don't know what the coal is worth nowadays.

I don't know of any HC clones over here since I still invest only in the ASX, but some have mentioned a motley fool.co.uk board.

The LSE is useless, basically follows some of europe until the US opens, then blindly follows that. Although my BHP mate tells me that BHP.AX hits above it's weight and can direct similar markets elsewhere. A lot of the best resource analysts are in Aust. although most of the money capital is OS.

Occasionally hear of the ASX when they are talking about asian markets but there's alot of huge co's in euroland and US that mostly dominate the sentiment, either fairly or unfairly. Can lead to severe mis-pricings for mid/longer term investors.
