My personal recommendation for the current financial market condition would be George Soros' book - "New paradigm for Financial Markets" - The Credit Crisis of 2008 and What it means.

Other books that I would recommend:

If you are into fundamentals:
a. Howard Schilit's Financial Shenanigans
b. Charles Mulford's Creative Cash Flow Reporting
- This two books uncover misleading practices in companies and how to spot them.

If you like behavioural finance i.e. psychology of finance:
a. Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely

If you like options trading, I would recommend any book from Nassim Taleb - my personal favourite in the options and derivatives literature.

Finally, allow me to end with another personal favourite - Fundamental Index by Rob Arnott
