I read this as the horse has bolted and a fire sale to the highest bidder is happening. First to be repaid will be the Senior Financiers (but won't get 100% back).This could mean that PNC is likely to be removed from the ASX and shareholders will lose all their money. A very sad state of affairs and feel sorry for the staff as there will be cuts by the new owners.
