Even at the forecast 2030 rate of consumption, China has technically recoverable shale gas to last @ 40 years. Some of it may be uneconomic to develop but costs are rapidly falling and their expertise in shale gas extraction rapidly improving and it's just one of the options available to them.

With renewable/storage costs rapidly falling and global coal consumption stubbornly high there is a very real danger that the second wave of US LNG will die on the vine. Hence the market is betting 8 to 1 that LNGL won't survive, i don't agree the odds are that bad. I think the odds are 3 or 4 to 1 so it's a buy at this price.
