What ever commodity you are in as they are quoted in US dollars you have to look at the exchange rates. Personally I think that much of the investment demand/speculative demand would have been totally negated at US$1200. At 1200 you would have natural demand consumption ie industrial demand plus jewellery. The electricity problems in SA will be around for several years and the cost of mining is increasing in SA through wages and steel so supply constraints are issues.
