Personally I cannot wait for 1-1-2009. Less sulphur in diesel fuels equates to more around 5-10% more power and greater fuel economy. Much like premium petrol.

The Europeans who lead the world in this area have had low sulphur diesel for many many years hence the early adoption of diesel motor vehicles (60% of all new cars purchased in the EU are diesel).

Australia and the US have been slow adopters due to our addiction with V8's SUV's. It's only a matter of time until we follow the EU's lead.
