Davros is in the lead but he may have been a little early... Followed closely by the X.
Gyro( who has never been seen as a contender before this race) is making up good ground now.
The Tod looking good here, but weight and age may be against him here. And as they settle...
Oh, and on the outside making his final run at the lead is the last three years champion in a row... Tony... Tony the stayer. Bookies have not rated him this year but look at him go. You can never underestimate his staying power.
The X, the x just can't be stopped. Even his brood mare can't stop this chap! A very confident run, with this little known jockey, Who's last ride on, Mybusinesspartner proved his class.
The rest of the field are bunching up now. Any one of these is a champion. And worthy of stud!
Oh, and look at that...OH NO... Showie... No... Showie has lost his jockey! He appears to have hit is head on the rail and is running back to the starting gate. Questions must be asked about how this show pony is even on the same page as these winning stayers.
The Vets may have to make a hard decision about Showie, the only thing they can do is... Oh dear.
