Perhaps T/Clifton will replace Simon Ashton but if souch a move would help?I have some doubts.
He was the MD of Perilya, the main Strike holder, when Strike sold the Casino discovery for some quick money ($20 mln for the shareholders). In the meantime the Vic/P44 JV enjoys their third discovery ...
I think a deal with AWE is not in question except they would provide a rig solution for the Carnarvon campaign. Baniyas has to be drilled by April 2009 - this, at least, will be big driver for the sp, imho (they obviously used an similar AVO analysis as they successfully applied at the Gulf Coast as well as the Casino discovery)
But most important for now is HGU1-1, keep my fingers crossed
