I think I started posting on HC in 98.
I was a tech bull in those days.
I also posted on Investorweb.
I used to argue with people like Geoffrey Transom and Anton T.
They were the bears of the tech bubble.
As a tech bull I used to tell them that they didn't understand the new technology and that this was a 'new paradigm'.
We had some great arguments/debates.
I owned a stock called Solution 6.
It went from $1 to $18.
I made a fortune.
They said it was a bubble stock that would burst.
They said it would go to .30c
We ridiculed them mercifully everyday, calling them doom and gloomers and dinosaurs.
Then one day someone on a forum brought to my attention a very damaging article about the then CEO Chris Tyler.
I rang my broker and sold the lot at $15 a share.
My broker thought I was panicking.
Luckily I didn't listen to him and got out relatively unscathed.
SOH continued down and down and down until it hit .30c and was taken over by MYOB.
They were right and I was wrong.
I couldn't possibly believe that my favorite stock could fall to .30c,it seemed impossible.
But it effing well happened.
Who would have ever imagined the CNP OR BNB could possible be trading at these levels??
But they are.
I prefer hanging out with the bears, they are far more realistic than the bulls.
I am a bear and make no bones about it.
I don't believe in conspiracy theories or blame the media or shorters or rampers or anyone.
It is a tough game and I am happy to survive.
If I can prosper then that is a bonus.
Call me a doom and gloomer if you like, but don't dismiss everything I say,as there is some valuable advice amongst the rants.
