GBB, I beg to differ. I suggest Algerd is interested in the overall concentrator circuit in Greenland and production of concentrate. The details I have provided are correct for this operation. I'm not interested in the refinery circuit - which initially will occur outside Greenland, and which we do not have sufficient information for a meaningful mass balance or a sensible discussion. I think you better stick to your field of expertise, and leave the chemistry the the chemists. eg Did you know that CaCl2.xH2O is extremely water soluble and will not end up on the waste pile as you suggest. CaCl2.xH2O will in fact be used in the production of Fluorspar (a saleable byproduct) in the concentrator circuit.
Your mention of CaSO4.xH2O is a complete red herring.
Let's not make a big deal out of this. I hope Algerd has sufficient to answer his question.
