"The Ear"s breathtaking announcement of August 12th does not seem to have affected buying interest in FAS and perhaps it is because it defies credibility.

The quarterly announcement from FAS dated 30th June 2008 stipulates that FAS had $1,485,000 cash at the end of the quarter. "Herd on the Street" suggest that FAS has cash of $50 million, now 23 million GWR shares may be worth $35 million at today's date, but they've hocked 9% or approximately 9/23 of these so at best they have around $20 million worth of negotiable assets. Thats a far cry from $50 million "of which $27 million is GWR shares"

It seems to me that "The Ear" given that they represent "The West" newspaper ought to try to get the facts right. Or is it that FAS have found at least 22 million in cash since June 30? Was it conversion of options, if so why would people convert options at 25c when they can buy the heads for 15c or less? If options have been converted and over 20 million jumped in surely that should be the subject of an announcement.

Or is the same person that advised "the ear" of these facts the same person that is very confident about the gold, uranium and iron ore.

I know there are a number here that feel the truth is irrelevant, but Ill say it again, when you're going to be found a liar, you're better off not saying anything.

Your credibility when other pronouncements are made at least then has a chance of being believed.

Are any other posters able to shed any light on the $50 million in cash inc $27 million GWR shares!!
