Wholesale prices: Highest annual rate in 27 years
Producer Price Index increased by 1.2% in July and by 9.8% in the past year.
US July housing starts fell to an annual rate of 965,000 units — the lowest level in more than 17 years.
US inflation going gangbusters too. Almost 6% pa.
The US economy - totally stuffed! And guess what?
US market is only down 0.8% and looks like closing up!
(Yanks are good at putting a positive spin on anything.)
