This is kind of strange, as acl's drug is a fully synthetic 'version' of heparin, with the none useful bits taken out. Why would you produce a fully synthetic 'normal' heparin, which I assume they are claiming to have produced (which contains harmful elements).
It would be a great piece of science to produce it, but why bother? It would be like reproducing a 1990's holden commodore. Why not reproduce a ferrari!
