I've said before I had been going through bank statements for people. And I remember talking to one person who was FIFO and in a quite forward manner I said to him "I've got to admit, I'm surprised you're not gambling".

He said 'I was, it's in my other account. I've called the bank and put a block on me depositing to all the betting groups'.

Thought I'd finally found one that didn't gamble! And I mean $1k a week type gamble.

OT - what do you do sir.

I would agree, that slowly contributes, week on week working hard... they end up with barely any savings and that's what then leads to drugs/depression/suicide
