Milesg, thanks for that, but we could use a simpler system to allow us to just get on with being productive and as I said before, not constrained, not tied down with paper work, not paying tax on tax, ie. gst, income tax, land tax, stamp duties,and all the others, - and for our govts./councils to make better use of our money. It was just an idea that I've had for a while, but thought I'd throw it out there to see what happened and what response. When they got rid of sales tax and brought in the gst., I remember wondering at the time why they didn't just improve the existing system, ie. make sales tax all the same, instead of varying levels, instead of changing the whole system completely. Even then, I and others thought the gst. was going to take the place of all other tax as well,- we were mistaken. Anyway, thanks for the discourse.Ravi
