You are wise to be a nervous nellie, the collapse in the share price has exceeded even my gloomy prediction. The market has become aware of the existential nature of the case to Spectrum, If Venus wins the damages will be the quantum Venus would have except for the alleged tricky dealings (not saying there were any such dealings). That's a lawyers picnic. But a starting point will be the PW jorc and an estimate of total ozs of gold. Then a $50K lawyers argument over all-in costs of production but the profit per oz will be around $1000. if you look at the estimates of the PW maiden jorc and then multiply by 1000 you come to a very large number. So if SPX loses they could well be obliged to hand over that amount which is goodnight Spectrum imo. To avoid that fate Spectrum will try to reach an agreement whereby the companies share PW. I have no idea who will win the case, my posts are about the risks to each company and as I have said the risk to Spectrum is very high. My opinions DYOR
