"in the last 12 months, how many times have analysts been wrong? from everywhere - banks, brokers, europe, US, here, etc...."
From what I've observed, if some analysts said that the resources boom is over, many investors start to panic and the sell off begins. Analysts don't have crystal balls...it is the investors who readily believe them that make their forecast come to reality.
