    Hi WP,

I consider myself to be an informed investor and I don't expect A2 to jump at every short attack. But I will be asking them at the AGM:

    1. Do they have any plans to combat shorting to protect shareholder value? Monitoring media, communicating with shareholders, building resilience through relationships

    2. Are we doing any data analytics on short attacks either through news articles, monitoring IP addresses, internal communications and research on A2 that would inform any strategy to rebut actions

    3. By doing 1 & @ above you will start to see patterns (we all have already) that will / may allow A2 to undermine the credibility of the information or person. At the very minimum doing 1 & 2 will allow you to make an informed choice about your response (if any).

By choosing to engage or not you may be able to control the news / dialogue.

You may also build up defences including law enforcement, legislation, friendly media, large corporates who share the same values.

I agree that this can distract management but by doing 1 & 2 well, senior management may not need to be bothered. This is afterall a soon to be ASX50 company if the shorts ever let us get there?

Get that this is a difficult war. But reconnaissance is seldom wasted.
