So "scheme of Canada listing" is on - Something new! Shareholders needing to vote on the matter too! The assumption that listing is to take longer to enact is correct then!
Flats has obviously sourced more up to date information. One might expect the announcement of the "Scheme" to come relatively soon? Assuming it is not wrapped up in the next quarterly report.
ITEMS LIKELY TO PUSH AVL SHARE PRICE ------
1. Announcement of "Scheme" to list in Canada. 2. Shareholder voting on Scheme. 3. Results of vote. 4. Actualisation of Canada listing.
5. Quarterly report late April. Pre report period has seen AVL SP move strongly mostly in anticipation of improving profits. The report may also indicate Stage 2 progress - anticipated completion date. This should impact on SP. Report might also indicate exploration progress - intentions. Possible impact on SP.
6. As Flats indicated profits post completion of Stage 2 will rock SP higher. The question is when will market anticipate these happenings with higher SP? Until recently market has been skeptical and very conservative - "Show me the money first".
7. As indicated by Flats post May/June should also see an impact of exploration results announcements. Kapulo is expected to be a goer anyhow.
8. Miningnut has suggested that AVL will place the best news available in order to market a package favourable for the listing in Canada.
9. Should Canada market revalue AVL to something like a share price with a forward looking PE of (say) 9 a move of AVL share price well above $1.00 (closer to $2?) is not an unrealistic suggestion.
My look to April approach is based on Listing in Canada announcement and quartely report - as for item 5. Am expecting more market recognition of AVL's soon to be realised potential and some buying in such anticipation to push share price.
Low turnover of shares will hold AVL share price as selling to finance option excising - due late April - takes place. Higher turnover will sweep such selling away.
