GO HOME YANKEE - GO HOME!!!

The Portman Board of Directors felt that they had a bunch of local yokels by the throat when they 'hijacked' the GWR shares that the Opres fraudsters had nicked from Fairstar [FAS].
They then decided that these 'yokels' were not too bright in mining matters and needed some American-style 'Bright Light' on their board.
WRONG, GENTLEMAN!!

The Board, it was decided by the 'Carpetbaggers', had to go. They were to be replaced on the 29th August 2008. This day will, however, simply showcase the great intelligence and loyalty of the incumbent board.

Why export our assets to the international markets and then send the profits to America via a bunch of ego maniacs?
That's if they bothered to mine it in the next ten years!

The Ear has been out & about and scuttlebutt has it that Portman has plenty of product to sell for now and it has been suggested that they may consider leaving this ore in the ground for sometime. Our current Directors, along with the major shareholders,
got together, sold 15 years supply of ore, strengthened the board with an ex Rio Tinto executive and, using an old Aussie term, BINGO!! Bye, bye Portman!
Well done Aussie, well done!!


Will the invading Carpetbaggers retire graciously or will tar and feathering make a comeback?
What the shareholders can do to show the resilient Directors their thanks for a fight well fought is make the vote unanimous!
