You can get a sense of how much hydrogen will be required for transport from this government paper on the proposed Hydrogen Highway linking Perth with Port Hedland.
In it it states that are car requires 4 to 6kg of H2 per refill. It goes on to say that a truck could take twenty times as much to refill. That puts a truck refill at between 80 and 120kg per refill.
