I have publically been kicking myself for two weeks on HC and privately, the fault of not taking some of very substantial profits is entirely my own. I take responsibility for my won actions but I am allowed to resent being sucker punched no?
trader8888, you are right that I had two weeks to sell down since the DFS was unveiled and I did to some extent, but not enough. The reason I sound a little more bitter today is that I found out another bit of news last night and the timing couldn't have been worse. Yes, it is just after the BF terrorism escalation against gold miners, just after the gold price fell out of bed this last few days so the timing couldn't have been worse. I was already kicking myself for not taking any profits when in hindsight so many risks were still in the air. Of course I am cursing my luck/actions over the last week when I could have found out and acted sooner.
Why is it everyone feels the need to shoot the messenger? This site is full of know it all's and judgement when the market is clearly full of uncertainties.
