actually It’s not particularly exciting for me though maybe you might consider it this. I used this person as an example because I happen to know the quality of his work. But I’m ok if you find it easier to move from Stalinist scientists to Nazi lackeys. Using labels this way probably doesn’t do much for convincing me that your arguments are reasonable and should be given due consideration however.
I guess that it is also easier for you labelling and name calling than consider the possibility that some people do take into account research, considered thought and decades of slog before they form an opinion.
As for him dragging in loads of cash that is sort of hilarious if it weren’t so tragic. The prize was divided among the large international team and hardly made up for tte drain on finances to sustain the work. That you might even assume that says more about your values and propensity to self indulgence than the topic at hand.
