All the discussion is about one State of Mexico - Nuevo Leon. It is one of 31 States. It has a population of 4.3m. It has around 250,000 secondary students and about the same number of tertiary students.
It seems that one uni (UANL) and secondary schools have decided to test. Total number to date - around 370,000.
Other States may come on board later - but that is not yet certain.
Drug testing is a State driven matter. The Fed Govt encourages it but, at the moment, leaves it to the States.
So, at the moment, it is something of a misnomer to talk about 'Mexican' testing. It is more correctly 'Nuevo Leon' testing.
Having said that, it may be taken up nationally down the track. When that becomes a reality the SP will be multiples of where it is now.
