Andrew Mallard did 12 years in jail as an innocent man.
what's interesting is that one of the high court judges granting George Pell the leave to appeal was instrumental in having Mallard freed.
the actual case went all the way to the high court. a real injustice with an innocent man in prison whilst the real killer was only caught later.
makes me think that the chances are good for Pell.
