As you rightly said, in the field it's not so simple.
That's in an orogenic zone though, the Capricorn Orogen - "The Capricorn Orogenof Western Australia is a ~ 1000 km long, 500 km wide region of variably deformed Archean to Proterozoic rocks located between the Pilbara and Yilgarn Cratons. The orogenrecords the punctuated Paleoproterozoic assembly of these two cratons,..."
Maybe Government Well, being Archaean and in the Yilgarn Craton, may not be deformed, or as deformed, as the Bryah Basin.
As per usual though, it's a matter of waiting to see what the drilling yields.
