Ann: ResApp Grants Option to Consumer Health Division of Sanofi, page-113

Hi All. Well I just came off the beach after reading the Ann this morning and thinking MEH. I sort of expected some sort of Sanofi involvement because they are deeply entrenched in the whole plug and play thing. It is clever by them to tie up RAP to a completely non binding sort of quasi deal cum collaboration.

Once again our management has let us down with communicating to the market information that is easily digestible and allows investors to make considered decisions. Very wishy washy yet again.

This Ann can be considered in so many lights but not one of them is truely bright because of the wording. It is not saying anything really and that’s why it’s a let down.

what does this mean?

Sanofi, an exclusive license to use the outcomes generated under the Startup Creasphere incubator program.

How can you judge this announcement when you have no reference points. What are the expected outcomes? What has this process provided Resapp that determines the outcomes. Without actually being there and attending the workshops it is impossible to know what directions the company has been guided towards. Lots of questions without answers.

Mr Market does not like that as we all know.

I really wish they would get a proper communications person involved at some stage to avoid this type of fluffy Ann even though I suspect it is extremely good news. Collaboration with a billion dollar company is nothing to sneeze at at all and surely will lead to other leads by sheer association. Let all hope so.

I am also not terribly pleased to see another possible 1 year wait for something that may happen same as LM. This is not the imminent commercialisation path that envisaged.

For now all the LT’s will be supposing again for a while. At least we have FDA and TGA to come soon.
