This ... this is the stuff ... this is precisely the stuff that I think clearly demonstrates a distinctive lack of perspicacity when it comes to investing, equities and commercial enterprises by some posters.

One poster states that he is down $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 on his investment.

The response from another poster is to encourage him to phone the very people that have the responsibility for generating sales, revenue growth and profits. Why would anyone do that? I would surmise that some members of the company may not appreciate his perspective as they did not participate in the cap raise.

    And if anyone did contact the company - the first question I would encourage them to ask would be;
"... when was the last occasion that a member of the CGB executive or BOD purchased shares in CGB using their personal fund?"

I think it is a very pertinent question because the BOD encouraged other holders to do that very thing in the 'company transforming" capital raising - at 3.5c wasn't it?

So ... you want him to call the company? Why exactly?

Let' see if I understand the response correctly.

You want him to call the company? That is the same company that can, citing but one example, resolve to send and or, is committed to providing ~$2,000,000 of shareholders scarce funds to a 'research' project in a foreign jurisdiction (p. 50, 2019 Annual Report)? Meanwhile, the BOD resolves to provide a convertible note for ~$2,200,000 to another top 20 holder. A convertible note where it is difficult to ascertain the immediate advantage to existing shareholders. Perhaps there is one but I fail to see it. There were many other alternatives available - I think.

The well used refrain of, 'call the company'. That's what you want him to do? Is that correct.

And precisely what is it that would you expect to happen as a result of any poster contacting the company with respect to the value of their investment being greatly diminished? Are you expecting the SP to somehow find its way back to +3.5c as a result?

As an aside - why would this poster not turn to HC for information? I think it is a terrific way for any poster to hear many, many differing views on all things investing. What they do with that information is their decision but at least they have had the opportunity.

And by the way - I think it is a travesty that any poster should find themselves $80,000 - $90,000 down.

And while on the topic of "research". This paragraph appears in the 2019 Annual Report (p. 10).

"To date, our research has returned phenomenal results in the lab in vitro, and in mice trials, with specific
combinations of certain cannabinoids successfully stopping the progression of the disease in these trials.
Tests on human patients are being currently planned, and the Company is hopeful that a product will be
achieved even in the short term that will help millions worldwide.
    "

Have these "phenomenal" results been published anywhere per chance? I am thinking - a reputed scientific journal as an example? 'Phenomenal' is a particular word.

And on page 11 of the same document; "At Cann Global Limited, we are committed to leading a movement, not just a business."

I would respectfully suggest that they de-emphasise the "movement" part of that goal and focus solely on the "business" aspect. I imagine that the 'business" aspect is why many posters have invested their hard earned dollars.

Ring the company - that is no panacea - it is an empty 'catch cry' when the answers to questions require scrutiny and greater examination - in my opinion. biggrin.png
