TilLindeman, You are absolutely right. Old men of any persuasion would have pretty similar views, especially the Greeks and Italians who came out during the sixties, worked bloody hard and now seeing the moral decay of our youth. In my early twenties, I worked with an old Italian who emigrated to Australia in the 60's, and got his arm broken in a fight at the local dance (trying to come on to the local lasses of course) in the first 6 months of arrival.His only relative in Australia whom he lived with, an uncle called him a "teste cazzo". It was hard times! There was no welfare back then but their work ethic pulled them thru. But the one thing that always plays in the back of my mind is the saying " there is no more a fool than an old fool", and occasionally i reads posts on HC including mine in which that saying rings true.
