It’s amazing how this has coincided with the end of the descending triangle and the false breakdown. Normally, a descending triangle would signal further price falls, but if everybody is using the “accepted industry read” of the signal, I would imagine that the algorithms would fake a lot of people out and do a George Costanza (opposite of what it would normally do) and breakout upwards (there have been scenarios in the US market where this happened).
These algorithms are playing 5 dimensional chess, let’s see what their next move is (I’m looking at you Chi-X trades)
