The great thing is that prawns grow in just one season, so it's not a long wait for sales increases. I also read on Tassal's prawn presentation previously that Australian prawns make up only 10% of the Australian market, with the other 90% coming from overseas. Therefore you would think that any increase in prawn production will be taken up quickly by the Australian market.
