This is not a $10b company and there is noting to wear down!, So lets drop 40% of the SP and buy the joint for $58m ? You really think that $40m is going to stand in the way for a player to own this resource, if they want it they buy it regardless, ie SQM, WES etc? Once again you are dreaming. There is no interest in this resource, until all the current producers in low risk countries have been cleaned out of their SPOD, hence >2030.
The petty cash investments that are being made in AVZ is nothing more than a few place holders IMO.
