Taking your tack on this possible change of policy @Tarvold I would suggest that the purchase price of PDPs will drop as well. I am sure that there is an element of our society who will take full advantage of such a move and refuse to pay a cent knowing that not much can be done about it. Loans to those borrowers will certainly end up as PDPs. Many of whom could be able but just unwilling to pay. Gone are the days when I could take out an unsatisfied judgment summons for non payment of a court order and the debtor would end up in the slammer for 10 days and come out still owing the debt. I do not want to indicate that I think it was the best way to go about collecting a debt but it sure shows how things have changed.
