Super Pit ... Super Smart ???, page-120

I'm no mining engineer but IMO it looks like the slippage occurs between two faults so there might be more material that is unstable in the upper section of the pit. I'd say cleaning this mess up won't be that easy because the pieces of rock that have broken away aren't "sized" as is the case when blasting on a set pattern and if any remanent sections of rock pose a risk they will need to be dealt with. I haven't read the presentations. What fix cost are they forecasting?Esh
