So either you were making it up which you have been doing more and more or the person was blowing smoke at you and you were unable to detect it. I would go for the second after seeing things like de Walt brining out iron magnets and MB sales person telling you about how great 48 MH would be. In the US I do not know how it works in AU. FIL notifies Lynas of the change in status. Lynas writes the press release and gives it to the exchange who publishes without editing. the exchange only reviews it if someone claims information was wrong or misleading. So if it is the same in AU then Lynas made the decision that it was not price sensitive. Again in US, if they had said it was price sensitive all trading would be stopped. The notice would be sent out and then a few hours later trading would resume so everyone had an equal chance to digest the news. From a historical point of view it was very price sensitive But as far as immediate trading it probably was not, so no trading stop was needed, which saying it was price sensitive would have triggered.
