Sen, do not imagine for a second that all stock trades happen because someone simply wants to buy or sell, as happens for most retail traders (ie regular individuals). Lots of very big volume traders (think investment / insurance / banking scale) are skilled at manipulating the price of stocks. Particularly stocks with low volume levels such as MCP. When they want to 'get in' or 'substantially increase' holdings they like to do it as cheaply as poss. If I recall correctly (my memory about this is vague because it never surprises me to see it) at close to the end of trade about 3-4 days ago there were about 15~20 of identical single trades in the selling side (and nothing else) all sitting exactly the same at about 600 shares. 1 buyer only for each lot. now that is not coincidence is it. More and more people are realising MCP is a stock they need to be in. Some have the capacity to 'shake the tree' and I believe that is what is currently happening.
