To put an improvement % on where battery performance currently actually is could be very misleading. Ongoing cycling performance negates any claim Dereck could argue with.

My senses took a long hard consideration of spray drier techniques I understand used in detergent powder production.
Spray drier expands the powder particles thereby making a given weight in a laundry package appear larger to the consumer. The spray drier also generates a larger surface area of the powder that would contribute to quicker dissolve, therefore effectiveness.

At the AGM when I mentioned to head of battery development Manuel Wiesner I thought it interesting to see the spray drier photo in the quarterly he did not react with any interest. As I felt I had mention a touchy subject I dropped off the subject.

Spray drier treatment may increase the size and surface area of particles an improved performance in the anode however with my minimum education, I may be way off the mark.

Discussions indicated there is clearly a performance breakthrough, to what extent, I don’t think anyone can answer until cycling, heating, and shelf life statistics are proven.
