lol Ash,these algorithms ,or another way to describe them a combination of AI and machine learning ie they note every global comment/news releases regarding any co of value plus all the stuff i don't know,ie all the stuff the bank ceo's don't know.Only the writers of the algorithms know ie the back room boys.Even regulators don't understand it.
What chance do we have,lol i can read one article,these macines read all/every article in lol quantum time.
I understand FT's replies.
But separate to FT's reply would b for example,a well known example ie those that use stop losses.These computers will do their split second calculations and if viable short sell suck up the stop losses and move on.
Bank algorithims by lge hedge funds and banks should b banned.If the bank ceo's don't understand them and the regulators don't understand y r they legal?.The risk is serious.And above does have relevance to tls.

ps at $3.50 tls is a ho hum hold.Supported by its pathetic div and other sectors that r under pressure for a variety of reasons,sp is not being supported by management.
