I wrote to ASIC for a number of reasons
- the fact that ASIC advise all over their website that they promote transparency however have their name listed on an ASX announcement but no comment from ASIC to date
- the reputational risks associated in having the peak regulatory body name on an announcement with no comment
- the fact that ASX do not accept complaints via the phone however their complaints document encourages people to call but then they make you log online
a lawyer responded said the complaint had been recorded and will have a response by the 28th or if more time is required will let me know by the 22nd
will wait to see the response from ASIC next week
