Titanium is terrible for rocket skins. No one uses it - titanium does not conduct heat and burns at high temps. SR-71 shows that we can use titanium when we want to, and for rockets we don't want to. Rockets use round nose cones made from carbon (RCC) as can handle the heat (titanium burns at this temp). Body could be titanium but why? Better and cheaper alternatives exist today.

The rocket model produced by titomic was embarrassing - coming from the industry myself it just shows they don't know what they are doing. They should have printed some rocket nozzles and shown them together with test data - not a child like toy that offends every engineer who looks at it. Oh yeah - in the US,.
