The MD should have said...... $1/ton because-
$1 per load would mean 1.6 m road trips and equate to roughly 64MT which is hyperbolically over the actual Riley mine resource of c.1MT to 1point something MT depending on cut off.
As the Fe is not as high grade as some DSO from the Pilbara the likelihood of closer to 2Mtonnes production is unlikely to be achieved IMO unless a customer is found for a lower grade (regardless of low impurities and LOI).
I agree the SP will be under pressure now because of the delay and lack of news flow.
