The AFR reports today that Amanda Wood, Westpac's head of their money-laundering reporting office and anti-bribery and corruption, was offered demotion in May last year after reporting to the executive on the lack of reporting to AUSTRAC.
It seems the executive didn't want to know about the breaches.
Yes AFR can and does go in for hyperbole and some possibly biased reporting, but the evidence is developing on this issue.
Hartzer won't be the only one to go before the washout of this very serious criminal conduct and breach of governance.
